Virtual Bundesliga trophies

In the Virtual Bundesliga, a total of three trophies are awarded: one to the winner of the VBL Grand Final and thus the German champion in eFootball among individual players, one to the winner of the VBL Club Championship and thus the German club champion in eFootball and one to the winner of the VBL International Series. The trophies are all the same size and shape but come in different colours. Their design is based on the Bundesliga trophies and features a V-shaped notch in a nod to the cursor that marks the player currently being controlled in the football simulation and is also part of the VBL logo.

VBL Grand Final trophy

The VBL trophy is designed in the style of the Bundesliga Trophy and has been awarded as a ‘travelling trophy’ to the winners of the VBL Grand Final since the 2019-20 season. The V-shaped notch is a nod to the cursor that marks the player currently being controlled in the football simulation and is also part of the VBL logo.  The trophy has a diameter of around 50 centimetres and is made of aluminium on the inside. The surface has an anthracite finish, and all the names of the previous German eFootball champions (the first final was held back in 2013) are engraved for time immemorial on the trophy.

VBL Club Championship trophy

The VBL Club Championship trophy is designed in the style of the Bundesliga Trophy and has been awarded as a ‘travelling trophy’ to the victorious club in the VBL Club Championship since the 2019-20 season. The V-shaped notch is a nod to the cursor that marks the player currently being controlled in the football simulation and is also part of the VBL logo. The silver trophy has a diameter of around 50 centimetres and is made of aluminium on the inside. The surface has a carbon finish, and all the names of the previous German eFootball club champions (the competition was launched back in the 2018-19 season) are engraved for time immemorial on the trophy. The players and officials from the victorious club also receive medals matching the design of the trophy. 

VBL International Series trophy

The VBL International Series trophy was designed in the style of the Bundesliga Trophy. The V-shaped notch is a nod to the cursor that marks the player currently being controlled in the football simulation and is also part of the VBL logo. The trophy has a diameter of around 50 centimetres and is made of aluminium on the inside. The surface has a gold finish.
