Exact schedule for Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 matches released

5 October 2023 – Following the draw for the second round of the DFB-Pokal, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has now released the set of exact fixtures until early December, covering Matchdays 9 to 13 of the Bundesliga and Matchdays 11 to 15 of Bundesliga 2.

The matches confirmed include Der Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern München on Matchday 10, which will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CET on Saturday, 4 November. Current leader Bayer 04 Leverkusen will play host to fellow European competitor 1. FC Union Berlin on Matchday 11 (Sunday, 12 November, 3:30 p.m. CET). On Matchday 12, second-placed VfB Stuttgart will visit Eintracht Frankfurt for the Saturday evening match (25 November, 6:30 p.m. CET). The following week, fixtures include the duel between Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund (Sunday, 3 December, 5:30 p.m. CET).

In Bundesliga 2, the matches involving the current leader FC St. Pauli and its currently closest rivals have been scheduled – a home match against third-placed Hannover 96 on Matchday 13 (Friday, 10 November, 6:30 p.m. CET) and the local derby against second-placed Hamburger SV on Matchday 15 (Friday, 1 December, 6:30 p.m. CET). The exact timing of the match between Fortuna Düsseldorf and FC Schalke 04 on Matchday 14 has also been announced (Saturday, 25 November, 8:30 p.m. CET). The following week, Hertha Berlin will play host to newly promoted SV Elversberg (Sunday, 3 December, 1:30 p.m. CET).

The next set of exact fixtures for the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 is expected in calendar week 45 (6 to 10 November) after the draw for the DFB-Pokal round of 16 takes place.
