The main task of DFL Digital Sports GmbH is the production of media content in order to promote the Bundesliga brand internationally. Based in Cologne, DFL Digital Sports GmbH produces and publishes media content via a variety of digital platforms. This includes production of content for international markets and the implementation of the league’s own platforms.

Freelancer (m/f/d) Liveticker / Feature Writer for Web and App
Here’s what’s waiting for you on the pitch:
- You will be responsible for our English Bundesliga live blogs.
- You create an exciting live experience for our users with the help of text entries, images and supplied data.
- You write match reports and other articles on selected Bundesliga topics.
- You also help manage our video output, translations, newsletter and are encouraged to put forward your own ideas.
Here’s what should be in your sports bag:
- You have significant (preferably expert) knowledge of football, especially the Bundesliga.
- You are a digital native, with the aptitude for understanding the digital audience.
- Expeditious writing and proper spelling/grammar.
- You have a well-founded knowledge of content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- You have experience in working with image editing programs (e.g. Photoshop) and Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- You are open to work with modern collaboration tools (e.g. Slack and Trello).
- You have native knowledge of spoken and written English, as well as a good knowledge of German.
