Bundesliga match between SV Werder Bremen and TSG Hoffenheim cancelled

9 January 2026 – The Bundesliga match between SV Werder Bremen and TSG Hoffenheim cannot take place as planned on Saturday, 10 January. The current weather conditions have led to widespread icing and considerable snow drifts in large parts of the stadium area, making it impossible to hold the match safely. According to the stadium operator, the Weser Stadium is therefore not operational. A new kick-off date will be announced shortly. Due to the weather conditions in northern Germany, FC St. Pauli’s match against RB Leipzig also had to be cancelled.
