Entering its fifth year, the VBL International Series is one of the most electrifying eSports competitions open to gamers of all abilities. Bundesliga International is once again teaming up with Battlefy, a leader in hosting international eSports events, to make the VBL International Series 2022 the most exciting yet.

The final will take place ahead of the German Supercup 2022

EA SPORTS FIFA 22 players in USA and Brazil, as well as EA SPORTS FIFA Online 4 players in Thailand and Vietnam will have the opportunity to compete for a trip to Germany, where the VBL International Series Final will take place ahead of the German Supercup 2022 (July 30).

Country Qualifiers take place from June 27 onwards, with gamers from Vietnam and Thailand playing EA SPORTS FIFA Online 4, while players from the USA and Brazil will compete using EA SPORTS FIFA 22 for the PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4.

The winners of each national tournament will be flown to Germany to compete in the VBL International Series Final 2022, with the overall winner taking home 5,000 USD. Additionally, the gamers will have the opportunity to learn from the best, when they meet and train with leading Virtual Bundesliga eSports players at the event. The four finalists will meet with Bundesliga Legends, and get to experience the special German matchday atmosphere as they enjoy a trip to the German Supercup: a clash between Bundesliga champion FC Bayern München and DFB-Pokal winner RB Leipzig live at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig.

To top it off, each winners’ journey will be documented from start to finish by a leading eSports streamer from their home nation. From Vietnam, Cris Devil Gamer and his wife Mai Quỳnh Anh will broadcast updates to their 10 million followers, while from Thailand, gamer FifaTargrean will follow his winner’s progress throughout their time in Germany. In the US, Chicago-based gamer and streamer CHI_Kacee will join the journey, while for Brazil, YouTuber and Instagram star Júlio Cocielo will share his highlights of the VBL International Series Final 2022 VIP trip.
