As board member for Finance and Organisation at VfL Bochum 1848, Ansgar Schwenken, born in Lüdinghausen in 1969, had already been on the board of the then-called Ligaverband since 2010. After studying business administration in Bielefeld and Münster, he worked for VfL Bochum 1848 from 1996 to 2014, first as Commercial Manager and from 2003 as a Member of the Board. Ansgar Schwenken has been working for the DFL GmbH since 30 November 2015.
